Day 5 of NaNoWriMo started a bit rough in the writing, but once I got to a scene I’d been planning for a while, my pace really picked up and I ended my writing sprints well above the 1700 word count I wanted.
If you’re interested in NaNoWriMo or just writing in general, it’s not too late to start. All it takes is a little time and desire to put word to paper. You can type the words or write them by hand. You don’t need to set aside hours and hours to write. I always write in “sprints” usually 10-20 min increments. It makes it a lot more manageable through out the day. And you’d be surprised how many times you have 10mins or so free to stop what you’re doing and start writing, even if it’s just pen to paper. And all of those 10 min sprints add up to pretty decent word count.
Day 5 word count: 2699
Cumulative word count: 11,046
